This color palette is derived from the Brook Trout (Salvelinus Fontinalis). This trout which is actually a Char is native to small streams, ponds, lakes and rivers. The trout prefers a PH ranging from 5 to 7.4. Also, it can live in waters from 34 to 72 degrees. Their coloration is a distinctive marbled pattern from brown to olive green. The sides have a distinctive sprinkling of red dots surrounded by blue halos, occuring along the flanks. The lower fins are reddish with white leading the edge.
