This color palette is derived from Little Pond in Wells, VT in early summer. It is mid May and the greens blanketing the mountains are beginning to turn from spring green into a deeper olive green. Flowers are beginning to appear on roadsides and the morning air still holds a small chilly reminder of spring. As the day unfolds mist rises off of the lake and dissipates soon afterwards. These days carry the nostalgia of youth and the cool, soothing palettes bring a calmness to mind that allows one the space to find oneself.
