This color palette is derived from the Inky Cap Mushroom (Coprinopsis Atramentaria) found throughout the northeastern hemisphere from April to July. The fungi pop up right after the rain but quickly start to dessicate into an inky black goo that actually was used as an ink source once. The Mushroom has a mild taste and is edible but the toxicology of this fungus increases a persons sensitivity to alcohol to such a degree that it becomes poisonous when consumed with alcohol. For this reason it has been known as Tipplers Bane.
