This color palette is derived from the Common Blue (Polyommatus icarus), a small alien butterfly originally from the
arctic regions, it was first discovered in Mirabel, Quebec. Yearly the range and population continues to establish itself in North America. The wings of the common blue are a very beautiful iridescent lilac blue, whereas the undersides are tan with black spots, white around the edges of the wings, and red markings that are present on both the male and the female.
